Recognising outstanding contributions by the media, 30 journalists from around the world will be selected by a professional international jury in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). In December 2008, the awardees will meet human rights leaders and receive a prize for their contribution to illustrating the UDHR with powerful and eye-opening stories.
