The following case summaries are excerpted from “End violence against women: Country reports”, which involve seven countries and are part of research commissioned by the Association for Progressive Communications Women’s Rights Programme (APC WRP) beginning in 2013.
End violence against women research focuses on tech-related violence, from mobile phones to the internet. Additional documents will bepublished later this year. Identifying country information is not included in the summaries in order to protect the privacy of survivors; instead they are categorised by region: Central and East Africa, Central and South America, South and Southeast Asia, Southeastern Europe. Names of survivors have also been changed.
